U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Lucia Nunez

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Lucia Nunez graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Nunez is the daughter of Blanca and Hector Gonzalez of Campbell Hall, N.Y., and daughter-in-law of Jody Nunez of Rock Tavern, N.Y.

She graduated in 2011 from Washingtonville High School, Washingtonville, N.Y., and earned an associate’s degree in 2015 from State University of New York Orange, Middletown, N.Y.
