As the national convener of the non-partisan Black Women’s Roundtable which represents millions of women nationwide, we join the rest of the nation in celebration of this historic moment. We congratulate Secretary Hillary Clinton on her historic achievement as the first woman to be nominated as a Presidential candidate for a major political party. This milestone is something for women of all parties to celebrate. For the breaking of this glass ceiling was centuries in the making.
