NEWBURGH – Recently, Newburgh Free Academy Science Research students traveled to the Eastern Regional Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) to observe NFA North senior Jazmin Phipps present her research, “The Effects of Educational Intervention Programs on Hemoglobin A1C and Body Mass Index Levels in Patients With Type 2 Diabetes.” Phipps was one of 56 science research students in the Eastern NY region selected to present her research from approximately 70 students who submitted their research to JSHS.
