PHOENICIA – Ulster Savings Bank would like to invite the public to their 58 Main Street, Phoenicia branch on Friday, August 18th from 4pm – 5:30pm to enjoy a reception for their latest exhibit, a collection of paintings by Judie Appleby. The exhibit will be available for viewing throughout the month of August.
Ms. Appleby, a West Shokan resident, has created art since she was a child in Brooklyn, NY.
She began her career in art as a window display artist for Sears in the 1980s, and received an Associate’s Degree in Art from SUNY Ulster. Her paintings have been shown at galleries throughout Upstate New York. In addition to her work as a painter, she served as set designer at the Shandaken Theatrical Society (now the Phoenicia Playhouse) from 1990-2013.
