LIBERTY – Licensed nursing home administrator Frank Murphy has been named the new administrator of the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty.
Murphy has 16 years as an administrator and consultant at New York and New Jersey skilled nursing facilities. He is a licensed clinical social worker and most recently was a behavioral health consultant for Praxis Housing New York City where he provided direct clinical services at the same time he supervised seven program directors and social workers on the clinical direction of the agency.
Murphy holds a master’s of social work and a master’s of science in Healthcare Administration from NYU, a post-master’s diploma in Geriatric Mental Health from Hunter College’s Center on Aging and a post-master’s degree in Addictive disorders from South Oak Institute.
He is also a licensed nursing home administrator in New York, New Jersey and Florida and a licensed clinical social worker with an R designation in New York and Florida.
