Holiday Lights in Bloom at the O.C. Arboretum

GOSHEN – Orange County Executive Steven M. Neuhaus has announced that the ninth annual “Holiday Lights in Bloom” program is in full swing for the season at Thomas Bull Memorial Park.

The Arboretum will be in “full bloom” with beautiful, garden themed light displays in the forms of flowers, animals and insects. Visitors will be amazed by the many paths of lit trees, gardens filled with an assortment of flowers and the 9/11 Memorial Garden will be adorned with patriotic decorations. Other features in this year’s “Lights in Bloom” will include a pond created in lights.

The “Holiday Lights in Bloom” program is free and will be open to the public from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting November 24th through December 23rd  and then daily from December 26th through December 31st from 5:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (closed 12/24, Christmas Eve and 12/25, Christmas Day). Volunteers from The Friends of the OC Arboretum will be on hand in the Ottaway Education center serving free hot cocoa (while supplies last) and selling handmade crafts at their Holiday Boutique (until December 17th).

The Arboretum is located within Thomas Bull Memorial Park on State Route 416 in Montgomery (enter Hamptonburgh for GPS directions) and is most easily accessed from the Grove Street entrance to the park.
