U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Eric Reimers graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Reimers is the son of Doreen and Charles Reimers of Saugerties, N.Y., brother of Jason Reimers of Troy, N.Y., and husband of Megan Reimers of Danbury, Conn.
He is a 2007 graduate of Saugerties Junior Senior High School, Saugerties, N.Y. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Suny College at Oneonta, Oneonta, N.Y.
