NEWBURGH – The Mount Saint Mary College Women’s Tennis team had its four match winning streak stopped on Sunday with a 9-0 loss to visiting Plattsburg. The loss drops the Mount to 4-2 overall on the season, while the Cardinals improved to 9-3.
Mount Saint Mary won just five singles games on the day, with freshman Sarah Canzone taking a game in each set in a 6-1, 6-1 fourth singles defeat. Antionetta Capone won a game at the second position, while Katie Murray and Jessalyn Goetz taking games at the fifth and sixth points.
