NEWBURGH – This month’s Life Goals Lab was a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The goal was to bring an acknowledgement of the many contributions and achievements that Latinos / Hispanics have made throughout the United States. We concentrated on how the mainstream music industry has incorporated “bilingual”songs such as Despascito and Echame la Culpa and many others to bring people and different cultures together.
The group also discussed personal experiences of Ms. Cole, Ms. Espallate and Ms. DeLeon on embracing our differences and being a Hispanic Woman in the US.
