POUGHKEEPSIE – Taraji P. Henson may be starring in the upcoming movie “What Men Want,” but Thursday, November 8th at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel it was all about what the ladies wanted with Townsquare Media’s annual event What Women Want. It was a ladies night out with a lot of giveaways, samplings, massages, games, a photo booth, holiday shopping, and lots of fun!
Upon entering What Women Want, ladies received Bud Bucks which they could use to play casino games or to buy raffle contest entries for prizes from vendors in the Regency Room.
Numerous vendors displayed their products. Giouvanna White aka Gigi, owner of Nervani Beauty Boutique in Montgomery, showcased her authentic product line of sugar and salt scrubs, lotions, body butters, cuticle oil, and nail polish.
“I use all natural products,” said Gigi, who also does nails, lashes, and microblading. “This is the first time I am here… It’s really nice to see all these women come together and support.”
Other vendors included Century 21, Exploria Resorts, Vitality Bowls, Jerkyhut, New Beginnings Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Renu Medispa, Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski, Ruby Ribbon, Momminia, Kiwanis of Southern Dutchess, and MINI of Dutchess County.
