10 Arrested in Newburgh Prostitution Operation

NEWBURGH – Police have arrested three women on prostitution charges and 10 men on charges of patronizing a prostitute.

The arrests in the City of Newburgh on Thursday were made by Newburgh Police and the State Police Violent Gang Narcotics Enforcement Team to address several prostitution complaints from members of the community.

Charged with prostitution were Newburgh City residents Maryann Mughan, 51, and Carol Conklin, 53, and April Hoyle, 35, of Walden.

Arrested for patronizing a prostitute were Nabil Mohammed, 38, Daniel Garciano-Romero, 53, Thomas Rowley, 72, and Nelson Morales, 42, all from the City of Newburgh, and Kenneth Dela Vega, 28, of the Town of Newburgh, Leonard Williams, 53, of Wurtsboro, and Daniel Ure, 60, of Hudson Falls.
