Hudson Link Welcomes Academic Coordinator

The entire Hudson Link staff would like welcome Douglas Duncan as our new Academic Coordinator for Sing Sing Correctional Facility.

Douglas is a Hudson Link alumnus who brings a wealth of experience to his new position. In 2007, while incarcerated at Sing Sing Correctional Facility, he graduated through Hudson Link with a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science. He earned the distinct honor of being the 2007 Ossie Davis Award recipient, and has worked closely with Hudson Link for over seven years.

Since returning home Douglas has been a pillar in his community. As a mentor, a care manager, and a workforce development coordinator, he served justice-involved youth.

His new role as Sing Sing’s Academic Coordinator will incorporate the skills he has obtained while working with Hudson Link for so many years. Douglas is so excited to be providing the same educational services to the men at Sing Sing that he himself received.

When asked about his new position Douglas replied, “I have always felt a great sense of satisfaction from helping others along their way. Taking on this role will allow me to impact so many of our students and their families and that is an invaluable feeling.” Welcome, Douglas! We are so proud to have such an asset on our team.
