Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County is Rebranding

KINGSTON – Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County, a nonprofit organization providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities for more than 68 years, announced its upcoming rebranding and name change to Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley (WSHV).

Built on the foundation of serving children with cerebral palsy, Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County has expanded to support children and adults with a wide range of disabilities through innovative community, educational, and residential services. The new “Wraparound” label better highlights this expansion and the organization’s person-centered approach that tailors its programs to each person to help them live a full life.

“We are proud of our growth, diversification, and high level of quality services,” said Gerard Dohrenwend, CEO, Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County. “Together, under our new name, we will do even more for our people participating in our programs, their families, and the students who attend our schooL”

While Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County’s name is changing, the organization’s mission and core values will remain the same as will their unending efforts to provide high-quality services and support to all people with disabilities. These offerings include: IRA and ICF Residential services, Wraparound Community Services, Day Habilitation, HUD Housing, Family Support Services (FSS), ISS Services, and Technology Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID).

Julie Krieger President of the Board of Directors commented that “The Board of Directors are excited about the rebranding that continues our mission to empower people with disparities to achieve their highest potential throughout the Hudson Valley.”

Preparation and implementation of the new brand identity has already begun across the organization. A new branded website will be launched in June 2020. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County at 845-336-7235.
