Democratic Committee Endorses Local Candidates

NEWBURGH – During its regular monthly meeting, the Newburgh City Democratic Committee voted on endorsements on candidates running in the upcoming June 23, 2020 Primary.
The vote on endorsements were unanimous:

Senator James Skoufis for NY State Senator from the 39th Senatorial District
Assembly Member Jonathan Jacobson for NY State Assembly 104th Assembly District
Paul Trachte for Orange County Court Judge
Maria Patrizio for Orange County Family Court Judge

The 2020 election offers the City of Newburgh and her voters the chance to make a progressive statement of democratic values at the State and County level. The Committee is confident the efforts in the City of Newburgh to support these candidates will not only result in their victories, but will also increase Census 2020 count numbers, and impact new voter registration.

The Newburgh City Democratic Committee is committed to working hard to turn out the vote for James, Jonathan, Paul and Maria – all long-time champions for the City of Newburgh.

The Newburgh City Democratic Committee meets the first Tuesday of every month at 401 Washington Street, Activities Center, Newburgh, NY at 7pm. All are welcome.
