POUGHKEEPSIE – An early morning fire in the City of Poughkeepsie has shut down the westbound arterial in the city.

According to Police Lieutenant Sean McCarthy, Mill Street (westbound arterial) is currently closed between North Hamilton Street and Civic Center Plaza as Poughkeepsie firefighters battle a 2-alarm fire.
