Local Farmers Market Slowly Returning

NEWBURGH – Saturday afternoon, the Newburgh Urban Farm and Food Initiative, was one of four farm vendors, selling fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers on Liberty Street in the City of Newburgh. The regular weekend farmers market is slowly making its way back to the Newburgh spot, providing an increased number of offerings each week in a safe environment.

The Newburgh Urban Farm and Food Initiative is an all-volunteer organization involved with the Downing Park Urban Farm, Produce Donation Program, Community Garden as well as Annual Newburgh Urban Farming Fair.
