I suppose the county executive didn’t get the point of the governor’s executive order 203 when he made the appointments to the Police Reform Advisory Panel.
With more than a dozen people named, only one is listed as a community member. Did no one want to serve? Or were they not asked?
To those on the panel, we must ask, “What kind of interactions have they had with the police?” I bet very little to add anything meaningful to the task of reform!
