Guenther is a two-time captain of the men’s rowing team. The biochemistry major from Durham, CT has piled up quite the resume throughout his tenure as a Red Fox. Currently a senior, Guenther is serving as the Secretary of Leadership at Marist, which is a subcommittee for Marist SAAC. In addition, Guenther also completed Marist’s emerging leaders program, and was an analytical chemistry teacher’s assistant. Guenther also attended the Black Student-Athlete Summit back in January. He also made the Marist Dean’s List in the fall of 2020. Last season, Guenther rowed the stroke seats in the Varsity 8 crew that captured first place in a time of 9:49, and Collegiate 4 A boat that won with a time of 11:00 at the Head of the Fish.
