Army Track Posts 64 Top-Three Finishes in Tri-Meet

WEST POINT – The Army West Point men’s and women’s track and field teams competed in a tri-meet with Albany and St. John’s on Friday. As a whole, Army had 64 top-three finishes.
The Cadets had 12 event wins and 34 top-three finishes on the men’s side. Marshall Beatty set a new personal best in the 5000m with a time of 14:03.16, which is the fastest time in the Patriot League this season.

The Black Knights totaled 11 event wins on the women’s side and had 30 top-three finishes. Bonvie Fosam and Emily Mikoud were Army’s double winners. Fosam won the long jump (5.56m) and triple jump (12.48m), while Mikoud placed first in shot put (15.28m) and discus (48.28m).
