The Orange County Chamber of Commerce issued the following statement regarding the passing of its former President & CEO Dr. John D’Ambrosio.
“We are saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. John D’Ambrosio, former President & CEO of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce from 1982-2014.
“We would like to thank “Dr. John”, as he was known throughout the county, for his more than three decades leading the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. Among his many accomplishments was developing entrepreneurship assistance programs that are considered some of the most successful in the entire state, and advocating for businesses and nonprofit organizations.
“The Orange County Chamber of Commerce attributes its success to Dr. John D’Ambrosio’s passion and dedication to the business community.
“His legacy will be memorialized with an annual tribute which will be announced at our Snowball Springs Ahead on 3/26.”
