Amani Green Wins ‘Vax to School’ Scholarship

KINGSTON – Kingston City School District congratulates Amani Green, a Kingston High School sophomore, who was chosen by lottery as the first recipient of Ulster County’s “Vax to School” scholarship!

This scholarship, which funds a full 2-year course of study at SUNY Ulster, was awarded as part of a partnership between the Ulster County Department of Health, the New York State Department of Health, and the SUNY Ulster Foundation. Students aged 12-17 from all nine school districts in the county were eligible to enter the drawing for the scholarship after receiving their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination at select county-run centers.
