Ulster Savings Bank Announces Three Promotions

KINGSTON – Ulster Savings Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of three team members: Timothy Kovacs, Aziz Ullah, and Patti Ricci. Each of the employees have been recognized for their outstanding achievements.

Timothy P. Kovacs has been named Vice President of Loan Originations at the bank’s Kingston headquarters. Mr. Kovacs will oversee the bank’s residential lending operations and secondary marketing sales as well as hedging the bank’s pipeline and managing risk.
A Kingston resident, Mr. Kovacs is a graduate of SUNY Ulster and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Banking, a preeminent executive management school for the financial services industry. He is also a graduate of the Ulster Leadership Development Institute, a leadership skill development program provided by the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has been a bank employee for 29 years, having started in 1993. Tim serves as a fire commissioner board member for the Ulster Fire District 1.

Aziz Ullah, an employee of Ulster Savings Bank since 2018, has been promoted to Commercial Banking Officer/Loan Officer at the Kingston headquarters.

Mr. Ullah, a Kingston resident, will source and develop a book of high-quality commercial relationships including lines of credit, term loans, and commercial real estate mortgages.
He holds a BS in Business from SUNY New Paltz and volunteers in various community events throughout the year.

Patti Ricci, who joined Ulster Savings Bank in1984, has been named Assistant Secretary at the bank’s Kingston headquarters. In her new role, Ms. Ricci will work with the Board and Senior Executive team. She is responsible for maintaining Board records and managing their calendars.

A Lake Katrine resident, active in the community, she is a volunteer at Perfect Pet Rescue and has volunteered for many community events throughout Ulster County.
