Annual “Butterflies and Blooms” Festival

FISHKILL – The annual “Butterflies and Blooms” event at Stony Kill Farm in Fishkill kicked off a fun and educational week, filled with activities celebrating the beauty and ecology of local pollinators.

Here, children work on a recycle craft as they listen in closely to details on fireflies and other outdoor friends from Stony Kill educator staff. The night also included a live artist, Hilary Astrid, working on her floral artwork, music, refreshments, a nature walk, camp fire and outdoor screening of the documentary, “Flight of the Butterflies.”
