ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON – The Bard College women’s tennis team lost to Hunter College, 9-0, in a non-league match on Saturday afternoon.
Unbeaten Hunter started the day by taking all three doubles matches, but the Raptors battled, taking three games at No. 1, five games at No. 2, and six games at No. 3.
Maya Kelly nearly won the first set against her opponent at No. 1 singles, and Paige Houghton lost a first-set tiebreaker at No. 4 singles.
This was the last match of the fall portion of the 2022-23 season for Bard. The Raptors next play Vassar in February.
