HAMDEN, CT – The Marist women’s basketball team fell to the Quinnipiac Bobcats in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes were defeated by a score of 73-45.
Quinnipiac led the Red Foxes early 7-4, then a Kiara Fisher three pointer tied it at seven apiece.
The Bobcats pulled away from the Red Foxes with a 7-0 run to lead 18-10.
A second quarter 6-0 run for Quinnipiac extended their lead to 31-19.
Heading into the locker rooms at half the Red Foxes trailed 35-25.
Quinnipiac opened the third quarter with a 6-0 run. Red Foxes responded with a 7-0 run to cut the lead, 41-32.
Continuing to add to their lead the Bobcats lead at the end of the third quarter, 55-35.
The Red Foxes fell to the Bobcats by a score of 73-45.
