Perales Earns Hispanic Recognition Award

KINGSTON – Congratulations to Brianna Perales, a senior at Kingston High School (KHS), who has earned the National Hispanic Recognition Award from the College Board National Recognition Program! In addition to celebrating Brianna’s hard work and showcasing her dynamic academic performance, this award offers her the opportunity to connect with colleges and scholarships seeking diverse talent. Brianna intends to pursue studies in either biomedical engineering or computer science. While she’s still exploring college options, she has already earned the President’s Challenge Scholarship, which would cover her initial two years at SUNY Ulster.

She attributes her passion for computer science and biotechnology to the guidance of KHS teacher Karen Garner. Brianna also extends her heartfelt appreciation to her mother, who offered unwavering support and encouragement during her academic journey. This award highlights not only Brianna’s hard work, but also her promising future!
