KINGSTON – On the first school day of each month, John F. Kennedy Elementary School principal Melissa Jamieson holds a school-wide morning meeting to celebrate student accomplishments and introduce the monthly theme.
At the February 1 meeting, she introduced some very special guests–28 student government members from several grades. Unlike most morning meetings, families were invited to attend and celebrate this new class of young civic leaders.
