Marist Men’s Track Runs at Valentine Invitational

BOSTON, MA – The Marist men’s track team had a solid day at Saturday’s David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University.

Amari Mathis secured a top-10 finish in the 60-meter dash crossing the finish line in 7.05 seconds, good for ninth place.

Gabriel Rodriguez secured a new personal best in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:24.79 and finishing in 28th place.

Raffi Buchakjian (2:31.23, 42nd) ran a personal best in the 1,000-meter run. Fellow freshman Matthew Ferreri (216th) set a new personal record in the 800-meter run as he finished in 1:57.52.

Easton Eberwein had a strong day running sub-50 in both the 400-meter dash (49.48, 72nd) and the 4x400m relay (49.22).
