Brad James and Regina King Highlight History

In just a few years, Brad James has transformed from a US Marine to a dynamic force in television and film. Widely celebrated for his comedic brilliance as Todd in Tyler Perry’s “For Better Or Worse,” Brad adds another layer to his already impressive repertoire alongside Regina King as Black Panther co-founder Huey Newton in the eagerly awaited biopic, “SHIRLEY” premiering on Netflix on March 22nd.

A former US Marine, Brad’s athleticism and stunt work in films are even more impressive given an ankle injury sustained during his military service. Despite this setback, he’s excelled in various martial arts embodying resilience and determination.

In 2021, Brad married actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, whom he met on the set of “Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta” in 2019. The couple welcomed a son in April 2023, adding to Brad’s role as a stepfather to Ella Knight.
