The Bard College men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the Monmouth Season Opener on Saturday to start their outdoor season. The Raptors competed against schools in all divisions, including Div. I Lehigh, Columbia, Marist, and Div. II Adelphi and East Stroudsburg.

Bard had many athletes compete in their first outdoor event, including two first-years competing in two events: J’adora Lively in the 200 meters and long jump and Violet DiBIasio in the 200 and 400 meters.

On the men’s side, Elijah Flynn, Ilyas Hotak, and Able Bloodgood all ran their first 1500 meters event, while Joshua Schwartz ran his first collegiate 400 meters.
