March 21st was World Down Syndrome Day, a celebration of special individuals who possess an extra chromosome, making them extra special and amazing!
People- and pets-from around the Hudson Valley came together to honor and advocate for the full inclusion in society of those with DS.
Some of those supportive gestures included the symbolic mismatched sock salute as well as donning of the trademark blue and yellow colors.
