Marist Baseball Captures Series Against Siena

LOUDONVILLE – The Marist baseball team defeated the Siena Saints in the second game of the series, Saturday afternoon. The Red Foxes combination of dominant pitching and scoring outburst led to a 10-1 win over the Saints.

The Red Foxes improved to 10-13 in MAAC play, while the Saints dropped to 5-15 in conference play.

Jack Wren started with two scoreless innings pitching for the Red Foxes.

In the top-half of the third inning, Brady Steinert led off with a walk.

With one out in the inning, Ethan Conrad hit a single, which moved runners into scoring position.

Bayram Hot followed with a sacrifice fly which gave the Red Foxes a 1-0 lead.

Justin Kapuscinski followed Hot with an RBI double which scored Conrad.

The Red Foxes led 2-0 after three innings of play.

With one out in the top of the fourth inning, Danny Moshier recorded a single for the Red Foxes.

Johnny Decker followed Moshier with a walk for the Red Foxes.

With two outs in the inning, Colin Mackle recorded a two-RBI single which scored Moshier and Decker.

Ethan Conrad recorded a double following Mackle.

Bayram Hot followed Conrad with a two-RBI double for the Red Foxes, which scored Mackle and Conrad.

The Red Foxes led 6-0 after four innings of play.

In the top-half of the sixth, Ethan Conrad reached base on an error.

Conrad followed with a stolen base for the Red Foxes.

Bayram Hot followed Conrad with an RBI triple which added to the Red Foxes lead 7-0.

Jack Wren pitched his sixth consecutive scoreless inning.

In the top-half of the seventh, Lewis Rodriguez reached base on a walk.

Rodriguez followed with a stolen base and reached third on an error by the catcher.

Danny Moshier brought home Rodriguez on a sacrifice fly.

Jack Wren pitched a seventh consecutive scoreless inning for the Red Foxes.

The Red Foxes led 8-0 after seven innings of play.

In the top-half of the eighth inning with one out, Colin Mackle reached base on a walk.

Ethan Conrad followed Mackle with a double, which put runners at second and third.

Bayram Hot followed Conrad with a two-RBI single which scored Conrad and Mackle.

The Red Foxes led 10-0 after the top-half of the eighth inning.

In the bottom-half of the eighth, Siena scored its first run of the game.

The Red Foxes led 10-1 after eight innings of play.

The Red Foxes captured the series win in the second game of the series with a 10-1 win over Siena.
