NEWBURGH – St. George’s Church, Newburgh, invites the public to participate in “Painting with Paul Gould”, a program to benefit St. George’s on Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m upstairs in the parish hall, located at 105 Grand Street.
The cost per person is $50 and includes acrylic paints and supplies. The value of the program is $75. Expect instruction by noted Hudson Valley artist, Paul Gould, who is being assisted by artist Matt Soltis, to be priceless. Seating is limited in order to enhance the experience. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend the program. Each participant will produce a painting of an autumn scene.
Registration and payment are due by October 2, 2024. The method of payment is by check made out to St. George’s Episcopal Church with ‘painting” on the memo line. Checks should be mailed to St. George’s Church, 105 Grand Street, Newburgh, NY 12550. Registration is made by calling the church office at (845) 561-5355 or emailing stgeo105@gmail.com.
“Painting with Paul Gould” is being given in memory of Emma O’Sullivan, Mr. Gould’s grandmother and longtime parishioner at St. George’s. Complimentary refreshments will be available.
