HVCU Welcomes New Marketing Leadership

POUGHKEEPSIE – Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU) is excited to announce a new hire and promotion on their Marketing leadership team: Bianca West has been hired as Vice President, Creative Director, and Kara Brinkerhoff has been promoted to Vice President, Director of Marketing Insights.

As Creative Director, Bianca will focus on collaboration with key stakeholders and business units across the credit union to develop a consistent brand identity. This includes working with their marketing and communications teams to coordinate strategic internal and external campaigns, market plans, and product development. Prior to joining HVCU, Bianca ran her creative agency, 21 Degrees West, delivering enterprise-level design solutions and brand strategies to fast-growing startups seeking to scale their business. She’s applied her skillset as a Creative Director to a variety of industries such as fintech, cybersecurity, pharma, and media.

Kara Brinkerhoff brings nearly 25 years of experience at HVCU to her new role as Vice President, Director of Marketing Insights. She has demonstrated a passion for identifying and advocating for the needs of HVCU members since starting as a Financial Services Representative in 2000 and in her most recent role as Assistant Vice President, Manager of Member Experience. As Director of Marketing Insights, Kara will continue utilizing these analytics to drive marketing performance and optimization, business opportunities, and continue fostering a positive member experience.
