NEW PALTZ – Tops Friendly Markets, along with its vendor partners NY Produce Inc., American Beverage Marketers (Agalima), Daily Crave, GOYA, Grace, LaPreferida, Ole, River Valley Foods, Romero Foods, and Xochitl Chips were proud to once again support National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15, 2024) and local organizations like Latinos Unidos of the Hudson Valley.
“Together with the support of our vendor partners, we are proud to give back to the communities we serve by making donations to nonprofit organizations throughout our footprint that truly support our Hispanic and Latino communities each and every day. This collective donation to four charities across New York State totals over $41,000—more than double last year’s contribution,” said Kathy Sautter, director corporate communications and public relations for Tops. “Today and always, we honor the heritage, diversity, and integrity celebrated during Hispanic Heritage Month.”
Last week, Peter Gonzalez, President of the Board, Latinos Unidos of the Hudson Valley, and Angel Figueroa, Vice President of the Board, Latinos Unidos of the Hudson Valley, visited the Tops Friendly Markets location on Main Street in New Paltz to accept Tops’ donation on behalf of their organization.
