The Bard College women’s soccer team fought bravely against nationally-ranked #20 William Smith in a Liberty League Conference match on Saturday afternoon at Cozzens Field
William Smith started out aggressive and intense very early on in the contest and maintained it all the way until the end. The Raptors did their best to defend the persistent attacks and attempted to retaliate, which led to two strong offensive attempts, resulting in two corner kicks and two shots, coming from Kaia Brady and Carina Cooke.
The Raptors defense made 12 saves on the day, 7 of which came from goalkeeper Seymone Roesnberg and 5 from goalkeeper Mckenna Reeves.
The Bard women’s soccer team will be back in action on October 30th to take on The Spartans of VTSU-Castleton University.
