POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess Community College welcomed job seekers from across the Hudson Valley on May 1 for a Spring Job Fair hosted in partnership with Assemblymember Jonathan G. Jacobson and the New York State Department of Labor.
Held on the main campus in Poughkeepsie, the free event featured more than 60 public and private employers, including New York state agencies, federal and local government, and organizations in healthcare, education, human services, technology and other industries. Attendees had the chance to meet hiring representatives, learn about civil service roles and explore a wide range of job opportunities.
“This job fair reflects Dutchess Community College’s commitment to expanding opportunity in the Hudson Valley,” said Dr. Peter Grant Jordan, president of DCC. “We’re proud to support initiatives that connect residents with career pathways and strengthen our regional workforce.”
