Foundation Hosts 8th Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway

MIDDLETOWN – The Children With Dreams Foundation (CWDF) successfully hosted its 8th Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway, which brought smiles, hope, and holiday cheer to hundreds of children and families across the region.

CWDF extended a heartfelt thank you to its clients, staff, friends, and community supporters – Local Banks and AKA Society ~ Orange County and others who donated toys, volunteered their time, and helped make this event possible. Because of their generosity, children in multiple communities were able to experience the joy of the holiday season.

This year’s toy giveaway served several organizations and locations, including:
• SCO Family Services Shelter in the Bronx, NY, children received toys and a bike given to us from the (VIEW tv show) and autographed footballs from NFL Giants Organization;
• Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital . Westchester, NY, children received toys;
• Garnet Medical Center in Middletown, NY, Children received toys.
• The Children’s home of Wyoming, Sullivan County – children enjoyed Santa Clause, arts & crafts, fingernail painting, children received toys and bikes that were given to CWDF from the VIEW television show and autographed footballs from the NFL Giants Organization.

“This event is very close to my heart,” said Clarice Needham, a representative of Children With Dreams Foundation. “Those who know me know that I go hard for the children. CWDF exists to help children continue to dream and believe they can be all they want to be-whatever that may look like for them.”

Despite the many challenges facing families and communities during these difficult times, the joy and laughter of the children served as a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back.

“Seeing the children smile kept me and my team going throughout the holiday season,” the representative added. “Life doesn’t get easier—you just get stronger.”
