Dutchess-Ulster Heart Walk Draws a Crowd

POUGHKEEPSIE – Morning rain turned to sunshine for the hundreds of participants at the American Heart Association’s annual Dutchess-Ulster Heart Walk Saturday at Dutchess Community College. The event takes on heart disease and stroke, the number one and five killers, in two ways—by miles walked, and dollars raised. Walking gets hearts pumping to help prevent these leading killers, and the funds raised will support the lifesaving research of the American Heart Association. www.dutchessulsterheartwalk.org
