MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Veterans Service Agency (VSA) will be closed from Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 16 in order to allow staff to move to new, more spacious offices in the Government Center in Monticello.
“Our Division of Public Works crew has spent several months getting our new quarters ready, and even though it’s just across the lobby of the Government Center, we have plenty of files and furniture to move,” explained VSA Director John Crotty. “We ask that the public be patient while we make this move, after which we’ll be able to provide even better service in an expanded, far more comfortable setting.”
VSA staff will continue to answer phones (845-807-0233) and emails during this time, and transportation for veterans will be unaffected. The office is anticipated to reopen on Monday, September 19 at 9 a.m. in its new location.
