LOUDONVILLE – The Marist women’s soccer team tied the Siena Saints 1-1 in Saturday’s conference matchup.

Three minutes later Nicole Colantuono got open and fired a shot on target, but Fini was there again.

In the 16th minute Leah Barbieri got an opportunity on goal and her shot was blocked, but she got the rebound and slid a pass to Amanda Caldarelli who fired one in the back of the net to give the Red Foxes a 1-0 lead.

Five minutes into the second half Colantuono made a move past a couple of Siena defenders and ripped a shot on target, but Fini made the stop.

In the 60th minute Kate Flannigan got in one on one with Natalie Kelchner and fired it past her to make it 1-1.

Marist had a great opportunity in the final minute when they won a free kick right outside the box, but Caldarelli fired a shot over the goal.

The Red Foxes will return home to host the Manhattan Jaspers on Saturday, October 15.
