BUFFALO -The Marist volleyball team swept Canisius in three sets on Sunday as the Red Foxes win their sixth straight match to complete the regular season.
Marist was able to cap of the road victory by scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-18.
The Red Foxes scored the match’s first four points, and used runs of 5-0 and 4-0 later in the first set to take it by a score of 25-18.
In set two the Red Foxes were able to jump out to an early lead; however, Canisius was able to battle to keep it close, but the Red Foxes won set two by a score of 25-19.
Canisius scored the first three points of the third set, but Marist answered by scoring the next six. The Red Foxes never trailed the rest of the set, and prevailed 25-18 to close out the match.
