Youth and Police Initiative Graduation

POUGHKEEPSIE – On Saturday, students from eastern Dutchess County, graduated from the “Youth and Police Initiative” having completed the weeklong, curriculum-based program, funded by Dutchess County Government, that helps build positive change and trust between young people and law enforcement by providing early intervention initiatives for students to build rapport with police officers.

County Executive Sue Serino stated, “We congratulate the student participants and their mentors for their dedication to making their community a safer place.”
