Generosity Shines at Scholarship Awards Ceremony

SAUGERTIES – Saugerties Central School District congratulated the 74 seniors from the Saugerties High School Class of 2026 and 23 undergraduate students who were recognized during the 2026 Scholarship Awards Ceremony on June 11.
The annual celebration highlighted student achievement and the extraordinary generosity of the Saugerties community. Through the support of local families, organizations, businesses, and scholarship donors, seniors received $379,600 in scholarships, while undergraduate students were awarded more than $2,448,000 in assistance.

Scholarships recognized a variety of achievements such as excellence in academics, leadership, citizenship, community service, music, art, athletics, business, character, and extracurricular involvement.

Saugerties Central School District extendED its heartfelt gratitude to the many community members whose continued generosity makes these opportunities possible. Their investment in students demonstrates the strong tradition of supporting education in Saugerties and provides lasting opportunities for young people as they pursue their goals. The district stated, “Congratulations to all of this year’s scholarship recipients. Your hard work, dedication, and accomplishments have earned this recognition, and we wish you continued success in the years ahead.”
